MUSIC AT ULEY SCHOOL

At Uley School, our aim is to provide a high quality music education that engages and inspires pupils to develop a love of music and nurtures their talent as musicians. We do this through Charanga which enables children to develop a love of music whilst increasing self-confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement.

Impact

Through lesson monitoring and pupils’ work, the impact of the curriculum can be seen in pupils’ skills to listen, appraise, compose and perform their own pieces and those of others. In addition, we monitor and evaluate our music curriculum through end of unit assessment.
